I am trying to callibrate sound for my system. I have an older Sony STR - DA2100ES amp, a Pioneer VSX 60 receiver, a Pioneer BDP - 62FD blue ray with no analog outputs. For speakers I have a total of 8 ceiling speakers and 2 Totem Rainmakers.
Because I need both amps to run my speakers with the sony amp being analog and the pioneer digital there is a delay in the output and the sound is not sychronized. I was hoping to run analog from my blue ray to my pioneer but as mentioned the blue ray does not have analog output.
given all of this I am considering getting a new audio amplifier to replace my old sony but given the HDMI output only for my BDP - 62FD I am struggling to find a 2 way amplifier with HDMI input. Any recommendations are welcome.
