Subwoofer hookup triubles

Hey there new to forum. Buddy of mine gave me 2 b&w asw2500 subwoofers. They have the rfa oldschool rca hookups

I have a pioneer elite SC75.

Both subs power up and worked previously. However I can get no bass out of either subwoofer. To do a test my buddy brought over another rca era b&w sub and that wouldn’t work

Beginning to think I’m doing something wrong. Anyone have any insight .......

Have you set up bass

Have you set up bass management on the Pioneer?
Have you set the main speakers as "small" on the Pioneer?
Have you tried a source with a discrete LFE signal?

I’m going to look into bass

I’m going to look into bass management

All speakers are small

Discrete LFE? Currently have a Martin Logan sub hooked up with the single subwoofer cable hooked up with no issues

If the ML sub works from the

If the ML sub works from the same RCA output jack, then it seems the AVR is OK and suggests that there's something wrong with the other subs.
