Hey-oh! My first post...

So, I'm a graduate student who finally got a turntable but I am totally lost when it comes to completing my setup. A couple of months ago I got a Pro-Ject RM-1.3 turntable as a gift and I am tired of having it still in the box and playing my records.

I am thinking of buying an ART DJ Pre II Phono Preamp, which, from reading some of the forums here, is a good starter preamp, at a decent price. When it comes to finding an amplifier and speakers, I am totally lost. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
