Hi everyone,
Firstly sorry for my English, ignorance and long written :)
I am trying to get a starter hi fi system for my living room(around 55 m2). I have an allo mini-boss player kit (without amp) and using with my old pc speakers(jwin sps-5200) but I want to get an update to listen my flac archive and some vinyls with Pioneer PL-990.
It's just beginning so I know I'll need constantly upgrades by time.
Firstly I thought to get an Edifier 1280BD and deal with speakers and amp solution together as a compact design. I know Edifier and specially 1280 models aren't considered as good here but I'm still keeping that option in my mind.
After a little research I changed my mind to get a good condition second hand speakers, in my area following speakers are similar condition and price range so actually I'd like to get any advice between them. But for second hand decision I'd rather to go with passive speakers to keep open my upgrade options. At this point I have a confused point for me, I don't have a budget to get amp Marantz or something like that, for now in my opinion I have two options, first getting a volt+ amp or lepai lp-2020A or similar amp, second option is using my jwin system sub which has the amp inside. Of course my second step will be upgrade my amp so as temporary which way is more logical to go for your opinion?
The speakers that I found affordable(almost same cost with new edifier 1280bd, around 150 usd) as second hand in my area are :
1. Dali Lektor 2 (bookshelf pair)
2. Wharfedale Crystal 2-10 (bookshelf pair and 1 center)
3. Wharfedale Diamond 7.1 (bookshelf pair)
4. Tannoy Revolution R1 (bookshelf pair)
5. JBL Control 1 & SB 1 (bookshelf pair and sub)
6. Magnat Motion 110 (bookshelf pair)
7. JBL Studio 220 (bookshelf pair, new)
8. Q acoustic 3010 (bookshelf pair, new)
For a little higher price (around 250 usd)
1. Dali Zensor 1 (bookshelf pair)
2. Yamaha NS 333 (bookshelf pair)
3. Polk Audio TSI 200 (bookshelf pair)
4. Monitor Audio MR2 (bookshelf pair)
5. Magnat Monitor Supreme 202
6. Heco Victa Prime 202
Additional information : I checked black friday deal for Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 on Amazon.com, price is great but there's a ridiculously high transportation fee to my place (around 1.5 times more than product) and write about this to customer service, they reply to me and said we understood that cost is issue and trying to get a solution about this, I'm not sure they can or not, and even they can that will be before stock out for this price so I keep this option as a long shot, but just wanted to ask about elac, please consider it the list which around 150 usd priced one, because it will be around that cost even Amazon do it's best I think.
My subjective opinion is close to Dali Lektor 2 with 130 usd good used one but it's just a feeling, not comes from my knowledge, that's why I am asking you.
Thanks in advance to anyone who even read :)
