The notion of speaker stacking has always intrigued me. In a way, it's a primitive D'Apollito thing for us dopes who tried it in the 70's before an MTM arrangement actually had a name attached to it.
We're going to use a pair of stacked (the model is a secret for now) speakers for T.H.E. in January, too, so it's been on my mind...
Which lead me to wonder if anyone else plays with this sort of arrangement.
I use a pair of stacked Advents in one system, and used to use a pair of stacked AR 90's before an old girlfriend's cat had his way with them (they are in the garage, waiting to be resurrected.)
I have been looking to maybe get a second pair of La Scalas to try this with. I suspect that may be a synergistic stack.
Anyway, anybody else with some good stacking outcomes?
