I have a Sonos sytem and I'm looking to expand it while maybe creating a new wired system.
I have multi-room SONOS system going on right now. I have a few Play:1's and one Play:5. Both are new generations. I'm focusing on the Play:5 here.
I'm first looking into getting a CD player because I have a handfull (around 100) CD's. To do that I'd need a SONOS Port (https://www.sonos.com/en/shop/port.html).
Which CD player would do a good job? Which component is the bottleneck here? THE CD player, the port or the play:5 speakers?
So could you recommend me some CD players from different levels so that the CD player is the bottleneck, the speakers are the bottleneck..
That way I can look into creating an actual wired system with the CD player later on.
