This was told to me by SimAudio way back when the CP-8 was released, so I doubt that there was subterfuge involved. I suspect that there were very few of these sold but it would be interesting to hear from any owners about what they knew and when they knew it.

Well, about 200 by Simaudio's count, or $3.6 million at retail (of course, less on the actual sale price). But yes, I'm looking to hear from purchasers; how was this product reprented?

I own one. Learned that it was a Denon yesterday. Been stored in the box since 2011. Just opened it up, and plan on using it with my new turntable.
