In my case, i used to buy wireless speakers as it helps me to get out of the trouble of wiring connections. I work as an online tutor. It saves my time and works well while providing essay writing online assistance to students.
While this will not match the fidelity of audiophile grade components, I am actually enjoying it very much in my home after replacing a mess of wired components. The bonus is that it's still 5.1:
Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar
Bose Acoustimass 300 wireless subwoofer
Bose Wireless Surround 300 speakers
Here's before and after pics:

The trade off is audio fidelity in 2-channel recordings, but movies actually sound *better* with the Bose, and there are absolutely no wires!!
Kind Regards,
Ron
