What price range? Linn is known for turntables. Their speakers are mediocre at best, At each price catagory there are a dozen good speakers. Linn is not one of them
Hello, thank you for the reply. I was thinking to stay within 2,500 pound or 3,000 the very max.
I was looking at klipsch, where I can have discount, and I was looking in particular for the heritage series Heresy III, Cornwall III, or RF7 II or something in the small range of the palladium series. PMC twenty-24 sounds good too. I appreciate if you could kindly advice on some best pairings with my amps.
Thanks a lot
I would not buy new speakers now.
Wait and see what sort of living space you have after you move. It will determine what size and type of speakers you want to get.
Besides; why pay to move them to Paris and take a chance on damage in shipping.
Sell your current speakers in Japan and get new ones in France.
Focal makes excellent speakers and are a French company, so I suggest that you look at them after you are in France.
Check out the
KLipsch
B&Ws
Revels
Sonus Fabers
Monitor Audios
Stay away from anything by Bose or PSB
Thank you. How about PMC or Spendor D7? For klipsch, better the heritage series like heresy III and cornwall III or the RF7 II?
You agree to keep my amps? Accuphase A-45 and EAR 864 preamp?
Thanks again
Riccardo
Spendor D7 is a very good unit
PSB makes some excellent speakers.
Most Klipsch speakers are terrible (except for their Legacy speakers like the Klipschorn and Heresy).
Bose sucks.
