While the MMF 3.3 is not bad, I think that it might not be good enough to match up with the quality of the rest of your system.
I have the MMF 7 and I suggest that you consider the 7.3 for your system. It has a fully isolated motor, which the 3.3 does not have.
I have a Benz cartridge, which I love and costs around $600, but there ae many cartridges in the $400-800 range that are very good.
The 7.3 goes for $1395, and adding $600 for a cartridge, that is still under $2000. That seems reasonable, given the cost of the other parts of your system.
Several weeks ago i met someone who had a lovely hifi system set up and i was invited to havr a listen. Denon amp, PSB speakers and a record player that i have never heard of before- "Vertere". I must admit i never heard such silky clarity out of vinyl before... the model was "DG-1", apparently the only one that isn't priced obscenely. it is out of my price range, but perhaps worth taking a look for you.
