Help. Long time audiophile struggling with digital files ringing.I use a dedicated p.c. server, I rip Cd’s to Flac. Files are played through Roon. On quite passages I have ringing. I have elimated speakers, amp, preamp, cables, and DAC.
Does not occur when the cd is played from the cd drive or when I play the same file through Windows Media player.
Gear NAD power/PRE amp, Musical Fidelity DAC, Maggie .7 speakers and Kimber wire. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
