I moved my turntable system to the short wall in the room.(It was on the long wall). The difference is unbelievable. before, there were no walls near the speakers. Now they're about two feet from the wall behind them and three feet from side walls. The main difference is volume and bass. Much more of both.
I don't notice less detail or worse imaging.There's wall treatment behind them to absorb sound, so there shouldn't be a lot of sound bouncing off the wall.
The system now fills the room with sound in a way it didn't before.
