I own Revel Performa3 M105s and I have had them for at least four years. Revel is owned by Harman which is now owned by Samsung though that is a recent purchase. They also own JBL and Mark Levinson along with Harman Kardon. The company is stable so you need no worry about future support. The brand is well regarded and growing. They are wonderful speakers and I can't say enough good things about them.
If you are buying them used, be more concerned about who owned them rather than Revel as a manufacturer.
I heard them being driven by a hegel h190 and they sounded great, a little light compared to the f208, but well balanced and musical and probably an easier fit in an average size room than the full range 208.
I purchased them on Saturday and extremely pleased with the quality and purity of sound. Installed in a roughly 15' X 15' room and being driven by Rotel pre-amp and 130 wpc amp. More than enough power and bass is good and tight. Reviews I have read is the f208 provides a bigger bass sound however mids and high sound and components are the same?
That sounds right. What are you driving them with? I came over to Revel from Vienna acoustics and KEF before that and I find the revels do a really nice job of staying out of the way of the music.

Yes, I am buying them used. They are a local purchase so I will be able to full inspect and demo. Appreciate your opinion!
