I've had this turntable for about 2.5 years and am hearing a slight squeal that lasts about 2-3 seconds when I turn it on and when I put a record on the platter.

I took the platter off and turned it on to see if it made the same noise, and it didn't.

Is this symptom of a worn belt or something else (ie. needs oil??)?
