Theres a guy over on Dimeadozen.org that's putting up all his master reels. Unfortunately, and he and i have gone around and around on this issue, he doesn't care about azimuth. You listen to his stuff, its like Dude, Tune your tapes in!!! Calibrate!!! But he thinks you gotta tune the Zenith and al this other stuff and he's scared to death to try it.
What would you say, or, where could I direct this fine fellow to on the web or otherwise to convince him that he needs to tune his tapes in... Because obviously he won't take my word. I even created a torrent that is now a staple on Dime ( www.dimeadozen.org - but you gotta register to download the recordings)... But still he's stubborn. He just put up this amazing King Crimson concert from 1972, but it is misaligned and HISS laden.
