Rostropovich on EMI and Casals (who made the Suites famous) also on EMI
Not unaccompanied, but, Beethoven: The Cello Sonatas, Lynn Harrell And Vladmir Ashkenazy - Decca.
For the Bach suites Fournier and Casals are arguably the two towering legends although while the Fournier recording is from the "golden age" of analog recordings I find that the Casals remasterings, while admirably clear, can't mask their 1920s origins.
For more modern reocrdings Yo Yo ma is indeed hard to beat although I would also recommend Pieter Wispelwey on Channel Classics and Michael Kevin Jones on EMEC. Wispelwey in particular is worth seeking out, he got chops!
