We have a pair of Acoustic Research AR25's that have served us well for many years. They are on stands and not shelves. We are looking to replace them and need some recommendations on current passive speakers (we use a Denon amp) that would have the same quality and dynamic range. It would be ideal if we can spend no more than $300 for the new pair.

The ELAC Debut 2.0 B6 speakers sell for $300 per pair.
