Thanks to all for the great speaker advise I've received from this forum. Unfortunately my budget for new speakers just became diminished thanks to some unexpected tax liabilities that blind sided me.

Thus, I've decided that I'm going to stick with my Energy Veritas 1.0 bookshelf speakers for the time being (these are the original Energy speaker line designed and built in Canada). I'd like to add a decent and less expensive subwoofer in the interim until I can afford better speakers (current contender: Mag .7, Monitor Audio Silver 6 towers, or silver 2 bookshelves, Revel Bookshelf)

The Energies sound decent but don't capture or project low end frequencies- the bottom end kind of sucks.

I have a small listening room/office that measures 10 x 12. Amplifier- Rogue Sphinx (version 1) and Peachtree DAC, Cambridge CD player, Project Expression table with Blue Point #2 cartridge.

Any suggestions for a subwoofer -preferable smaller in size to accommodate my current line up, smaller room size, and possible future match up new equipment would be most appreciated.
