I have the step-son of the Wilson watts pups. I just want to make them sound "New" again for they have a rubber surround issue(worn) and one surround was injured as well as a tweeter lost its magnet in shipment. These cabinets are over 1.5" thick and the crossovers are of the best possible quality of the time. My question really is how do you replace 7" dual voice coil drivers now? Jeeze I feel so hopeless, I know the knowledge is here on listening of speakers but how about saving a speakers life. The boxes are perfect, not the ugly oak but satin black and they really did sound great for my investment of 5,000.00 a pair at the time. (1990) Please don't share with me what is wrong with them but if you have any sort of compassion tell me or share with me where you would start.
