Hi all. I'm looking for a new cd player, in the area of $500-$800. I've been looking for one that plays SACD, no DVD's. I have the new Denon DVD-2930CI, and so far I'm very pleased with it. But I'd like a dedicated cd player for a few reasons, one of which is to reduce wear and tear.
I've searched the forums here, but haven't found anything yet. Any recommendations? I'll be using it with the new Yamaha RX-V2700 (Yamaha responded to my e-mail asking when it will be shipping: late October).
Also, if an SACD is played on a player without SACD decoding built in, and I use the digital coax output to a receiver like the Yamaha, will I get SACD decoding or does the player have to do it?
