Hi, I just bought my first turntable (Denon DP-300F) but I think there's something wrong with my cartridge (besides the fact that it's mediocre).
I'm using the Denon MM cartridge that came with the turntable, but I've noticed that whenever I play anything, I also hear a tinny version of the music echoing from the cartridge itself. I followed the instructions pretty well when balancing the tone arm and the tracking weight and everything...
I've never come across this before with other record players, so I was wondering if any of the more experienced audiophiles here knew what was causing it, and how I could get it to stop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
