Check out the Wharfedale Diamond 220s. They have a slightly larger footprint but go about 8-10hz lower in bass frequency and I find Wharfedale speakers to be a bit to the warm side of neutral. These are available in the US every day for $299.
I don't like them at all, i have had the 2 times and with in few days i returned them, to little bass and a dark sound
But I hear good things about the Monitor Audio Bronze line. They ought to have a standmount in that price range. I hear you on the Wharfedales being dark. Not my favorite speaker but it is deffinitely not bright.
The manufacturer says their minimum frequency is 64 Hz. They ARE way too small, and of course they don't have any bass.
I suggest that you check out the Cambridge Aero 2 speakers.
Once had the Dynaudio Emit M10 and they had alot of bass (almost to much) even when they only where 1400mm and slightly bigger than the 3020 and concept 20, they lacked a bit in the higher midrange, lower treble it sounded to soft with the full bodied bottom/bass. Changed my (nabd c326bee) amp, it got a little better. They sound (bass) almost as i imagine the 3020 would do with a small (but good) subwoofer placed where they sound best.
Have the 2010i's for my tv, read reviews after reviews on the q acoustics 3020,youtube videos ....... and because i liked my 2010i's so much i wanted to have a pair of 3020's if they where better than the 2010, they are just not more noticeable or deeper bass (youtube bass video 1-100hz video let me hear that the bass on the 2010 peaked (where louder than the 3020) at 80/85/90hz, no frequency where the 3020 peaked, just flat a bit borring although what i hear despite not being amongst the deepest, loudest for there size and price range, it sounds good)
Prefere the midrange and treble from the 3020 over the 2010i's. Compared to there size i really like the bass from the small 2010i's
140mm
Mission LX2 i wonder who good it is

Heard the new spdali spektor 2 they have a good bass but darker sound than zensor 1 taht sounds more open and dynamic, zensor 3 had more bas, i liked it, that's how much bass i want
even when the price was the same for spektor 2 and zensor 1, zensor sound better
Waiting for a pair of Mission LX-2 in walnut
