Hello,
I noticed the PSB Imagine B6 on sale at crutchfield for 280. I am a bit of a noob but want to evolve my system which consists of:
10ish yr old Yamaha home theater receiver (only used for stereo in my listening room)
Polk rti4
Cheap klipsch 12 in powered sub
Old pioneer TT w ortofon 2m red
Oatley Electronics diy tube phono preamp kit 272
Laptop + fiio alpen dac
Eventually I plan to upgrade everything but it will take years.
My main question is are the psbs likely to be a noticeable improvement over the Polks? I like the present sound but am ready to evolve especially for that price. Or would it be better to wait a year to save for something better like kef ls50?
Would appreciate other thoughts on next most logical upgrade, too, if not the speakers.
