I would be concernned about the lack of inputs on the Sprout, and its low power output.
The Vincent IS a very good phono stage.
I suggest that you look at the ELAC Element amplifier. It has more inputs and more power, and is compact.
The PSB Imagine Mini speakers are excellent, and quite compact; great for an office setup.
Thanks for the thoughts! I think you are right about the Sprout. I would be a little worried about the power. My new office will be pretty large (20' x 16') for an office.
I'll check out the ELAC. I believe I am recalling a poor review of that product but I cannot remember where I read it. I will have to did.
I probably need to take the price up and consider the NuPrime IDA 8, Vincent integrated or something in the NAD family.
I know it sounds insane but I am trying to manage how this all looks in the space as I have clients in the office. As in, trying to blend the audio/visual piece if you will.
The NumPrimes are absolutely spectacular for the money and that IDA 8 will drive the Kef LS50s very well.
I have a Vincent Pho 8 in my system and it is great. It is tough to beat for $300 and one really nice feature of it is the noise filter seems to be a bit better than on some other less expensive phono stages and eliminates/reduces noise from vinyl that is less than optimal. It is one that will do well in your system today and if you upgrade in the future, still works well in a more premium system. Can's say enough good things about that unit.
If $1500 is within your consideration, my choice would be the Musical Fidelity M3si.
It has a very good integral phono stage, which you might want to try before you get another one.
