Hello all. I hope everyone's summer has been enjoyable thus far...
I'm currently in the market for a preamplifier. I also need a USB DAC. It seems like my most cost effective options are to buy a combined unit (Think, Nuforce gear). However, I'm open to just about anything at this point in the $200-400 range.
Has anyone had a great experience with some entry level source/preamp equipment? Any recommendations?
At my price point I don't think it is realistic to get into a significant discussion around system matching, but for the record, my power amp is an AMC 2100MK2 (100wpc, fairly aggressive and bright flavour). The speakers are TBD but I'm checking out a set of MMG's today.
