Here's the crazy hypothesis...
What about modify the switcher capability between Phono1 and Phono2 from a Mark Levinson ML-1 or LNP-2 Preamp, to a device with two rotary knobs, and modify the function of just switch between Phono1 and 2, in order to be able to MIX between Phono 1 and 2.
Basically, transform the ML-1 or the LNP-2 into a Preamp MIXER !
Let me know your thoughts about this possibility, technical difficulties and etc..
