I have the musical fidelity  v-lps. This is probably a stupid question, please be gentle. But, will I damage anything in my system if I run an MM cartridge into the MC input on the preamp? Isn't it just a higher gain stage? Or will I hurt something? Obvious newbie here. Please keep the cursing to a minimum in your responses
