First post, long time viewer.
I’ve bought a pretty simple system in the last year “Yamaha RX-V673” and a Sony Turntable. Mostly bought this set-up because I fell back in love with vinyl.
After contemplating upgrading my turntable, I decided to buy an Oppo BDP-93. I’m getting it on Thursday. I was struggling between that and the Wadia I170. But went with the Oppo.
Anyone have any advice on the Oppo I purchased? I’d love to hook an external HD to it and play FLAC files, but it seems that won’t be possible.
With the devices I mentioned, besides the speakers (That will have to wait, as the ones I have now work well) is there something I should look for on the horizon to make my system better equipped to play and convert digital files?
Also—Anyone know a good site to buy Blu-Ray Audio?
PS—No flaming…I’m very green.
