G'day from a newbie in Australia! I recently came across a new website for a small Australian speaker company and thought the designer's forthright views deserved a wider audience. If you're wondering whether he can back them up, then the answer is a resounding 'yes'. He demo'd his base model to our audio society a few months back, using a system that we provided, with A/B comparison to B&W 805s and some small Sonus Fabers (I forget the model), both of which retail for around twice the price here. The margin by which these well regarded designs were outperformed by the Lenehan speakers in every area was hard to comprehend; just a night-and-day difference, a verdict pretty much unanimously reached by all of those present. The bad news is that there probably isn't a pair in the Northern hemisphere for you guys to hear, because they supposedly can't meet the local demand. Anyway, be interested to hear what other people think about the site:

PS. without getting too nationalistic about it, I've got to say that Australian hi-fi is really on a roll at the moment. Companies like Continuum Audio Labs, Halcro and DEQX are leading their fields. Look forward to the upcoming Stereophile review of the Melody tube amp, another company that seems to have a good buzz around it.
