We have two legacy receivers just inherited a Nakamichi Receiver 2

We have old Polk S-8 speakers that still sound great.

Are we better off using the Yamaha RX-497 or Nakamichi Receiver 2 to drive these speakers.

We need to trash a lousy Denon unit and will switch out as suggested.
