If it were me I'd clean all connections and possibly replace the power cord. Besides that all I'd worry about is if the power conditioner you're considering, like any power conditioner, actually improves the sound rather than hurts it.

Cheers,

caphill-

it all is dependent upon where you reside? Second, do you live in a house or apt/condo (where you share the power w/ others in very close quarters)?

Second note,

Richard Gray Power Company products offers an excellent solution to both of these conditions.
I use a 400 Pro (4 outlets) for well over 10 years w/o fail. Not only does it "clean" the power going to my gear, it also does not "steal" current from my power transformer.

I'll be sure to check all the connections and the power cord. The seller offers a 2 week return policy on Audiogon.
I do live in a multiplex house setup where I can share power with other people in close proximity. I will look into the Richard Grey conditioner. Thanks again. Currently I'm using an old cheap basic entry level Furman from the 90's. I'm getting rid of it and look for an upgrade.
