I recently purchased a Nordost Power cord for my integreated amplifier and was absolutley shocked at how good my Musical Fidelity KW 500 sounded with a genuine high end power cord.

Well this got me thinking, as the power cord has such a profounded effect on music what would happen if i applied its undoubted magic to other uses. Well being British the obvious use was tea, we are the worlds experts on tea and there is nothing better than a great cup of ceylon or assam.

Well with great excitement i plugged the cord into my kettle and waited with baited breath for the greatest cup of tea ever, well they say a watched kettle never boils but with the Valahalla cable the kettle boiled in record time. With enthusiasm growing i began the steeping process and waited the required 5 minutes, the result was absolutely spectecular.

The tea was like no other i felt transported to Ceylon, visions of Ceylonese girls hand plucking the tea leaves burst out of the cup. I cant explain why but the tea just seemed smoother less granular as if the power cord had boiled the water in a more linear analog fashion the result being a more coherent tea from top to bottom. I also noticed a wider flavor range than usual, it was as if the standard power cord restricted the tea, the Valhalla allowed the tea to express itself fully the boundries of flavor were wider with the Valhalla than a normal AC cord. Of course i cant forget the aroma, wow, there was so much more energy in the tea with the Valhalla it was like the water wanted to be there.

Anyways after my experiement i am curious as to other uses for a great quality AC power cord, my experiment with tea clearly shows that the doubters are wrong.
