No bass

I have a Chiro C200 with C800 and magnepans MG1, there is absolutely NO bass whatsoever with my Pro-Ject table. Any thoughts

The probability is high that something somewhere is wired + to - or that some component is inverting polarity. The first thing I would do is check all connections.
