First off I'd like to say I'm very impressed with the members on here. Very respectable, very helpful. Anyways I need some help. Below I will post where my turntable is currently set up. I need to know if that's ok, or if it should be moved. I jumped the gun and got a brandnew record that started skipping in a week and I dont know if it was because of me or if it was like that when it came. So I got a new one, and now Im very hesitant to play any of my old records, because I'm afraid I'll screw them up. My question for all of you is this: Is that location ok? What are good rituals to perform before you play a vinyl? What is a good cleaning product to use before every use? (VERY dusty room) How to get dust off the turntables mat? And just any general advise on a new comer with vinyl records! Thanks!
