Greetings. This is my first post. I've signed on for the journey into hi-fi, if that's still the preferred nomenclature. My first purchase was a Marantz 2250 receiver. I bought it on the basis of some research and guidance from trusted friends.
I don't have a lot of technical needs. Not at this point at least. I want a system with a rich sound. I want to play cd's and listen to the radio on this system. I don't have a ton of room. With my 2250 in mind, can anyone recommend a good CD player and a good set of starter speakers? I've been reading through the forums and a brand that seems to jump out at me is Acoustic Research.
