Hello,

I recently tried to hook up my old Sansui receiver to no avail, it needs at least 150 dollars of work.

I know that I want to purchase the Vandersteen 2ce's and the Marantz 6400 CD player. But first I need a good pre amp and amp.

My budget is $2000. I'm fine with used equipment. My problem is I don't know too much about what I could get with my money and what I need.

My budget is very tight.

Could someone please steer me in the right direction?
