Allow me to put my question another way. I am all set to order these speakers and some amplifier later on that will match impedance and has enough inputs, unless someone can give me a good reason not to. Do these speakers suck? Does this company suck? Are there better speakers I can get for the same price? Am I going crazy and should just get bookshelf speakers instead? Is it OK to just buy "some amp" or should I get a pre amp and a post amp, or put much more thought into the amp/speaker selection process? Is there a good setup you could advise me on straight away? Thanks.
What I want is to basically route all my devices capable of producing sound (computer, record player, game consoles etc.) through an amplifier, and then through some good speakers.
This system doesn't have to be amazing, but I would like it to be quite good. I spied some speakers at reduced price from the B-Stock at AV123 (link), and I would think a
