Hi guys,
I am new to your website and have to admit that I am not technical. I just enjoy listening to a good music.
I'd like to get a recommendation for a complete sound system (stereo) to be installed in my living room, including floor standing speakers, amplifier, AV processor/preamplifier, cables and power supply. A system that I can also use with my AppleTV, Playstation and my NAS. I've had some B&W, B&O, Bose, JBL & Harman Kardon systems below 10K. This is the first time that I'm trying to put together a 60-70k system. I know it is a vague request but if you give me your favorites and a little explanation, it will give me some direction. I'd highly appreciate all your replies in advance. By the way, if it matters I mostly listen to classic/progressive/hard rock genres.
I need to mention that I've already consulted with Best Buy Magnolia and they recommended B&W 800 D3 with mcIntosh amp(?) but refused to give me the equipment list/make/model number, unless I put 20% down which does not make any sense to me.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
