Are you looking to build a home theater system or a system for music? Your system goals and budget might better determine which direction to go.

I suggest the following:

Amazon has the Jamo S426 HCS3 5.0 system for the unheard-of low price of $150; that is less than half of what it was recently. I would get it quick because it may sell out soon.

Also i suggest the JBL ES250PBK subwoofer, which is also a super deal at $200 from Amazon. This is also less than half its recent price and a real steal.

A couple of weeks ago, those two would have cost over $700. They are good deals, but may not last long.
