just bought a pair of kef r3. it was such a good deal, that i ordered them blindly. Had no chance to check them out before either.
Now I need an Amp. And I read and read and just don´t seem to find one that fits my criteria. I´m not all about neutral Sound. I need it "warm" and without harshness in any way. I have four main criteria.
Enough power to drive the R3s
a good Phono Stage
An Equalizer inside the Amp
Aluminium or Metal Frontplate
and it should not be to analytical. punchy and warm would be nice.
thought about the audiolab 6000a but it doesn´t seem to have any kind of EQ. Rega Brio doesn´t either. Cambridge CXA60 doesnt have a Phono Stage. NAD seems to harsh and is always a littlebit plastiky.
Am I missing something or is there nothing in the 1000€ Range?
