I have found a local shop which sells most of the Naxos catalogue currently available. I am aware that CDs in the Naxos catalogue vary substantially in quality. My preferred (classical) repertoire is from the late-classical through to the end of the romantic period (although I am more than willing to try some of the excellent music outside this period). I am looking for recommendations (stating both pieces played and disk numbers if possible) of excellent Naxos recordings. I know Todd has posted a number of excellent in-depth reviews on these forums. I also remember a review of several Naxos disks in a "Records2die4". However, further recommendations would be very much appreciated.
