I have been really pleased with the sound from my Monitor Audio A100. It is set up as 2 channel and primarily is used to play music. I was surprised how much I enjoyed listening to it connected to a pair of Mission bookshelf speakers (m71i).
I have wanted to try it with some MA floor standers, like the Silver 6, RX6, or RS6. In the meanwhile, I came across a pair MA Bronze B4 speakers that were too good a deal to pass up. I like the B4s, but am not satisfied with them. I am hoping the Silver series will deliver better.
If you get it, please post back with your impressions and the speakers you use! Thanks :-)
The A100 should be better for driving those speakers.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Have been travelling so haven't had a chance to lock things down yet
Will post again when i do.
Ordered the Monitor Audio BX2 and NAD D 3020 plus some SANUS NF24 stands for about $887 all together. Leaving enough money to add a subwoofer at some point. To give context I wanted to beat the Definitive Dech W Studio soundbar which retails for 1300 ish and get roughly the same features re bluetooth etc.
