Hi folks,

I can get either of these amplifier/DAC options for the same price (the upper limit of budget, as authorized by my wife, the CEO). They will be used to upgrade music from two sources: Apple itunes using Airplay and Airport express, and an ancient Pioneer CD player.

I have no ability to test these side by side, but both sounded reasonably good at the hi fi store. Any thoughts on which direction I should go? Open to considering a third option too.
