The set-up was similar to what I sued for 2007's "Merkin Hall" project. The core of the set-up was a combination of two Metric Halo converters connected by FireWire to my G4 Mac mini: an 8-channel MIO2882 DSP 2d and a 2-channel ULN2, housed in an SKB road case (top). The ULN2 acted as the system master clock and was fed the two Earthworks QTC40 omnis I was using for the audience pickup. The MIO 2882's mike pres are noisier than the ULN2's so I used them for the very-close-miked kick and snare drums and electric guitar, as well as for the direct-injected feed from the bass guitar amp. For the drum overheads (DPA 4011s) and the piano mikes (Neumann TLM103s), I used the top two low-noise Millennia Media HV3s in the rack on the left. The bottom roadcase contains an Audio Power Industries Power Wedge AC isolation and conditioner. The next case up carries my 2 dCS 904 A/D converters (not used on this gig) and an Alesis MasterLink recorder I was using to store a rough 2-channel mix for monitoring.
