The amp in the photo is actully a Wells Audio Akasha review sample we had at the time.

Nice speakers , really like the finish , neat idea for stands too . I see there DIY's , did you build them yourself ?

Yes, I built them myself.

They have served me quite well for over 7 years.

68 litre, 3/4 inch Baltic Birch, bottom ported, braced cabinets with 1-1/2 solid poplar front baffles.

I could never afford commercial speakers of this quality & performance.

Jon Marsh, their designer, created the original Avalon models.
