The Hegel HD11 only accepts 96kHz signals through USB which would be a turnoff for me. Built in sound card? I suppose that's OK with a PC.
The Muscial Fidelity only accepts 16 bit 48kHz data over USB, mega turnoff.
If you are using optical or coax input they may be OK. I'd look at the Schiit Bifrost as well. Only $349 ($449 USB) and sounds as good as most for $1000.
