I have the MF M1-Vinl and it is superb.

I am using it with the MMF-7 turntable and Benz Micro Ace cartridge.

I originally had a V-LPS in one system and an Audio Research PH5 phono preamp in the other system.

Despite the fact that the PH5 originally cost $2500, the M1-ViNL sounds a LOT better, has more features (including balanced outputs), and is one of the best I have heard at any price. I think it is a steal at $1200.

The Audio Research PH8 has similar features and sound quality, and sells for $6995. And it does not have balanced outputs.
