Hello stereophiles,
Here is my situation, and hopefully you guys can help me.
I just bought a condo (1st floor and basement) that had just been renovated by a... lets call him Silly Party Person (SPP). What SPP did, is that he set up 4 speaker wires in the condo that all lead to a corner of the living room. The location of those are: Two in the kitchen/living room/dining room area (it's an open concept condo), one in the bathroom, and one in my son's room.
With this in mind, here are my needs:
-Ability to control the volume of each speaker individually
-Ability to turn ON/OFF the speaker in my son's room
-Good sound quality (no need to be great/perfect, my ears are not that difficult
) I would rather spend my $ on my HT setup in the basement...
-Speakers needs to fill in the rooms nicely since they will all be positioned in non-optimal location (I did call him silly after all) and two room are going to only have 1 speaker in them
So the ideal setup for me would be an amp that allows me to output mono on the four speakers and control the volume on them individually. Does this even exist?
Suggestions for this setup, a different setup, amp model, speakers models would be great.
Thanks,
Max
