For reasons best known to themselves, from 1990 through 1994 then-Mondial owners Paul Rosenberg and the late Tony Federici spent the money they would have used for displaying their Aragon and Acurus brands at CES on an annual party, where writers and manufacturers would jam. Seen here outside Chicago's Jimi Hendrix museum/club where the 1993 bash took place are the band: back row (l-r): retailer Elliott Kallen, keyboards; Mondial's Tony Federici; Bob Reina, then with TAS, keyboards; Stereophile's John Atkinson, bass; Mikey Fremer, then with TAS, vocals; Immedia's Allen Perkins, drums. Front row (l-r): Mondial's Paul Rosenberg; Stereophile's Corey Greenberg, guitar; TAS's Frank Doris, guitar; and Steven Stone, then with Stereophile, guitar. Not shown: Rob Sample of Paradigm, vocals; Neil Sinclair of Theta Digital, drums; Roland Marconi of Mondial, guitar.
