Here's a brief overview of the Mind Lamp, an ambient light device that responds to human thought. There are 8 colors that the light can turn, based on random number generator inside. Thus there is a 1/8 probability that any one of the 8 colors will be displayed next at any given time. The lamp will respond to conscious or even unconscious thought so, for example, if a person in the room is thinking of the color RED there will a better than 1/8 probablity that RED will be the next color displayed, and for a person with a particularly keen ability to influence the lamp the probablity can be quite high, actually. And the lamps can communicate with each other.
